RefWorks Guide

This guide will provide you with a more in-depth look at the New RefWorks bibliographic management tool.

Projects Feature

One of the new features available to users is Projects. Projects allows users to create separate spaces for each potential type of research. Collaborators can be added to contribute and manage a project as well. Each collaborator will have the same level of access to the resources within the project.

Above the "+" icon find the "New Project" option. Select the "manage projects" from the open projects Menu to see the image below.

Select "Create a new project" to start the process of creating a new project and to view the image below:

In order to share or collaborate with another, please select the Sharing settings on the right. Please note that projects can only be shared with users who have a New RefWorks subscription:

Can share projects with others

RefWorks will function the same way across all of a user's projects. When adding a citation, RefWorks will ask to identify the needed project. Getting citations into RefWorks, folder creation, management, and editing, will work the same.
