eBooks-Reading and Using

Welcome! This guide will help you interact with the eBooks in DML's collection.

Saving to PC

In order to begin the process of downloading and reading eBooks and eBook chapters offline, from the website, please follow the steps below: 

First, begin by opening the Springer eBook collection. Then, select a needed eBook. Select "Download Book PDF" if you wish to download the entire eBook as a PDF.

In order to download the chapters themselves, expand the chapters. Notice each one can be downloaded as a PDF:

Select "Download PDF" underneath the needed chapter. Hover your mouse over the top of the screen to see a set of options available to you. Select the "Down arrow" icon to download your PDF. You will be asked where you wish to save either the eBook or the eBook chapter:

Mobile Device

In order to read eBooks and eBook chapters from your device offline, please follow the steps below.

From your mobile device, go to our Springer eBook collection. Select a text that you would like to read:

Select ePub

Then, select either of the "download eBook" options PDF or ePub. PDF will allow you to read online where as ePub will allow you to download offline. If you have any Apple product, you can open the eBook in "iBooks". Once you open in "iBooks" you will see it on the bookshelf along with other texts you have:

If you have an Android device, please make sure to download the app "iPublish Central Reader" from Google Play. Springer will let you download the text into the iPublish Central Reader app. You will be redirected to your Reader bookshelf. Select your text to read offline:
