Welcome to the Image Use in Authoring section. This section will discuss how authors go through the process of determining whether permission is needed  to use an image when authoring articles, books, etc. The information will include:

  • How to organize yourself for the permissions process 
  • Provide you with a list of usable creative commons licenses appropriate when submitting articles 
  • How to use use the Copyright Clearance Center
  • What to include when writing a permissions
