Dahlgren Memorial Library (DML) supports all current GUMC affiliates, regardless of location. Affiliates based at the Capitol Campus have full access to Dahlgren's services and resources.

  Schedule a one-on-one or group consultation for expert guidance on refining a research question, literature reviews, citation management, systematic searching, publishing and advanced database navigation.
   
• Have a Quick Question?
  For simple, factual, or access-related inquiries, get immediate help via live chat, chatbot, phone, or email.
   
• Searching for Journals, Books, or Databases?
  Access a comprehensive online collection of health sciences and biomedical journals, databases, eBooks, and mobile apps by logging in with a current GUMC NetID. 
  Document Delivery (ILL) requests can be made for materials not provided by DML.
   
• Need a Print Book from DML?
  Submit a Document Delivery (ILL) request to access print materials from DML. Print materials can be mailed to Capitol Campus affiliates at no cost to you.
   
• Want to Schedule a Workshop, Instructional Session or Orientation?
  Request customized instruction, workshops, or orientations designed around course goals, assignments, or research needs.
   
• Looking to Improve Course Design and Engagement?
  Enhance courses with tools like Canvas, Zoom, and Panopto. ITDD staff offer instructional design consultations, support for integrating technology, and hands-on training. 
   
• Seeking a place to study or meet?
  GUMC users are welcome to visit DML to use the open study areas or reserve a study room.   
  The GUTS Capitol Campus Shuttle runs between the Capitol  and Hilltop Campuses on a regular basis.
  
  Additionally Capitol Campus study space for GUMC affiliates may be found in Capitol Campus 125 E Street (McCourt School of Public Policy) and the Law Center McDonough Hall. Check the McCourt School of Public Policy's "Top 7 study spaces on Georgetown’s Capitol Campus" (as of fall 2024).
