Evidence-Based Medicine Resource Guide

The evidence-based medicine resource guide will introduce users to the concept, process, and application of EBM. Additionally, it will provide users with EBM resources and research tools available to them through DML and the Web.

Define: Unfiltered Source

Primary, or "unfiltered," literature presents the original work or experimental results of that article's author(s). We offer up this definition as a counterpoint to secondary or "filtered" literature, which is synthesized and evaluated evidence derived from primary literature. In primary literature, critical appraisal of the literature has not been done for you.
