DML Physical Facility

This is a general reference guide to use of our Physical Facility for patrons, with information on building access, TBL/BACC/Table reservations, facilities issues, and signage requests.

Reserving the TBL Space

Use of the Team-Based Learning (TBL) space on the 2nd Floor may be requested by GUMC Faculty, Staff, MGUH Affiliates for events and group education for up to 200 people (per fire code restrictions).

Benefits of the space include:

  • Floor-wide speaker system, projecting to all corners of the room. (Microphone use available upon request)
  • Fully modular fold-up tables which create a floor space that can be customized to any configuration
  • Rolling Monitors (available upon request)
  • Wheasels (wheelable easels) (available upon request)

Food and Drink is permitted, so long as all trash is disposed within the proper receptables. In the case of a catered event, please inform us in advance whether you require use of our trash receptacles. Following the conclusion of the event, please bring all trash bags down to the Pre-Clinical Science Building rear Ground Floor exit corridor facing Shaw Field for disposal, leaving the bags against the wall facing the glass exit doors.

Our 2-week TBL Reservation calendar is on display by the Ground Floor elevator and on the 2nd Floor bulletin boards. We require at least one week’s notice for the reservations, and it must be requested through the form below. Once you have completed the reservation form, you will receive a confirmation email within 1 business day. Please contact Benjamin Sussman and Linda Van Keuren with any further questions.
