This library guide will provide best practices for finding materials using the DML Discover (AI enhanced) search engine

Limits

On the left hand side there are various limits that patrons can use to focus the search results such as publication type, date ranges, and publication name. There is also a new set of limits called biomedical limits, based off of Medical Subject Headings or MeSH.

Provides list of limits available. Contains publication limits like type, subjects and date. Also contains Biomedical Limits like Amino Acids.

Filters

The Filters displayed can help identify areas of further research such as age group, medical, study type, and subject subset.

Filters are displayed by relevance and provide further research for age group, study type, and subject subset

 

In order to view the terms used to develop the filter in question, select the filter and add it to the search. Then select the "i" icon next to the filter.
