In order to get to My Searches, select My Searches, which is underneath the Basic search box.
My Searches allows users to save or delete searches, show Search History, and create RSS Feeds for their searches. Stars are for particular Favorite searches.
Below is an example of a search Alert that was set up weekly.
Users can also combine searches from the My Searches page with boolean operators like AND or OR making an entirely new search:
