BMJ Case Reports

 

It is recommended that authors read the "fine print" on the publisher site very carefully before submission as each agreement covers different types of articles and has different requirements for authors.

 

Description Agreement covers the cost of submission and upon acceptance the article will be open access for other readers with a BMJ fellows membership. Does not cover an optional fee to make the article open access to non-BMJ fellows.

Copyright Details When publishing in BMJ Case Reports, authors choose between three license types – exclusive license granted to BMJ, CC-BY-NC and CC-BY (Creative Commons open access licenses require additional payment.)
Institutional Repository Authors are encouraged to ask the publisher if their article is eligible to be added into an institutional repository.  If so,  please contact dmlresources@georgetown.edu and a DML staff member will facilitate access into the DigitalGeorgetown institutional repository.
Submission Guidelines

 Authors that participate are asked to include the acknowledgement statement:  funding support is in part from Georgetown University Medical Center.   

Is there a code needed to receive the APC support? YES - Authors wishing to receive the subsidy should email dmlresources@georgetown.edu prior to submission for directions and submission code.
