Wiley

Oct 2024

Please note: At this time, the Wiley subsidy is fully exhausted for the calendar year. However, depending on article acceptance statuses, the subsidy may reopen later in 2024. Please check this page for updates.

The agreement will renew in January 2025, and submissions will be welcome at that time.

It is recommended that authors read the "fine print" on the publisher site very carefully before submission as each agreement covers different types of articles and has different requirements for authors.

Institutional Repository Authors are encouraged to ask the publisher if their article is eligible to be added into an institutional repository.  If so,  please contact dmlresources@georgetown.edu and a DML  staff member will facilitate access into the DigitalGeorgetown institutional repository.
Submission Guidelines

Due to the high level of interest and limited number of articles available for the subsidy each year,  the following restrictions are in place

  • Authors with eligible grant funds are requested to use those funds for APCs in order to provide the subsidy to authors without funding.

  • The subsidy is limited to one per person per calendar year.

  • Once the limit has been reached for the calendar year (first come, first served based on publisher approved date),  the subsidy will cease for the remainder of the calendar year.  Authors that submit articles after the subsidy has ceased will not see an option to request it.

Submission Guidelines

Authors that participate are asked to include the acknowledgement statement: funding support is in part from Georgetown University Medical Center.

Is there a code needed to receive the APC support?  YES  - if the subsidy is available,  GUMC corresponding authors will be provided the code during the author submission process linked above.
