ASM Journals

It is recommended that authors read the "fine print" on the publisher site very carefully before submission as each agreement covers different types of articles and has different requirements for authors.

Description APC fees are waived for select ASM journals.
Additional "page charges" and "supplemental material fees"  are the responsibility of the author.
Available to Corresponding authors with a current, full time Georgetown University affiliation.

Copyright Details If affiliation with Georgetown is verified, the article will be covered by Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 license. Authors publishing in an ASM Subscribe to Open (S2O) journal retain copyright of their paper. 
Institutional Repository Authors are encouraged to ask the publisher if their article is eligible to be added into an institutional repository.  If so,  please contact dmlresources@georgetown.edu and a DML  staff member will facilitate access into the DigitalGeorgetown institutional repository.
Submission Guidelines

Author Center and Open Access Policy.

Authors that participate are asked to include the acknowledgement statement: funding support is in part from Georgetown University Medical Center. 

Is there a code needed to receive the APC support? No, affiliation/eligibility is tracked via the university's Ringgold IDs when the author selects their affiliation.
