Welcome to the In-Text Citation tools section. The in-text citation capabilities of RefWorks make inserting citations into a research project infinitely easier. The following sections will go into greater detail into the options RefWorks has to offer:
Please be aware that none of these tools are interoperable. If you start in one tool, whether that be WriteNCite, RefWorks Citation Manager for Microsoft 2016 or RefWorks Citation Manager add-on for Google Docs, stick with that tool.

At this time RefWorks has released the newest form of RefWorks Citation Manager. This is compatible with Word 2016, Word 2019, and Word Online.
This will require no extra work on the user end. If you already have RCM downloaded, it requires little extra work on the user end. RefWorks Citation Manager can do a quick update in the background for the user.
