Sort References By

Sorting References is one way you can manage your references and view them in a way that makes the best sense for your resources. You can sort your references one of four ways: Date, Title, Author, or RefID

When sorting by date, you can choose sort by date added, date published, or date accessed. 

In the example below, you are sorting by Date Added:

When you sort by Title, your citations are arranged by Titles A-Z:

When you sort by Author, your citations are arranged by Author's last name A-Z:

When you sort by RefID, your citations are arranged by ascending RefWorks identification numbers:
