You will be redirected to a page that has the direct URL to the text as well as an AMA citation at the top. At the bottom, please note the "Download for EndNote/RefMan/RefWorks/Mendeley" icon/button:
Select the "download for EndNote/RefMan/RefWorks/Mendeley" icon/button and then the "Click Here" to download your .txt file format:
Once complete, open the Reference Citation Manager of your choice and begin the process of manually importing your citation. Please note that the data source you need to select will be NLM/PubMed. Then, upload your .txt file to finish the process.
The selected citations will be sent to your selected reference citation manager for storage and management. For example, within RefWorks, you may utilize the bibliography functions of the platform to cite the eBook in your required format.
