First, in order to begin the process, go to either ClinicalKey or ClinicalKey Nursing from an on-campus computer. Then, click register for a new account or sign in if you already have an existing account.
Once you have logged in, click on your name on the upper right hand corner, and select "Remote Access".
Enter in your MGUH or Georgetown Email and you should receive an email with directions. Select the "Activation" link that will be within your email.
Next, go to either Google Play or the App Store to complete the process of downloading the ClinicalKey App. Once you have downloaded the app, you should see a screen similar the one below asking you to sign in. Use the username and password you created in order to login. DO NOT sign in via OpenAthens or Insitutional Login options:
Once you have logged in, you should see a screen similar to the one below. Go to the Menu tool at the top left to browse for chapters, look at bookmarked content, or your search history.
Starting from either collection, select Books to be taken to a list of the eBooks available to you. Please note that there are significantly less eBooks available from ClinicalKey Nursing than ClinicalKey:
Then, select the eBook chapter you wish to read.
The entire ClinicalKey/ClinicalKey Nursing ebook collections can be also read using the browser on your mobile device. Please follow the website directions below.

Users can read eBooks and eBook chapters directly from either the ClinicalKey or ClinicalKey Nursing collections.
To start, go to either collection and select the "Books" option to see a list of the eBooks available to you. To select a particular text, either browse alphabetically or filter by title:
Select an eBook and then expand the sections to choose the needed chapter:

Prior to going to the eBooks, please login or register for a personal account underneath the umbrella of Dahlgren Memorial Library. While the account is not required, you will not be able to save, print, or download without logging in. Either select "Login" or "Register" depending on if you have created a personal account before. Once registered and logged in, you should see a screen similar to the one below with your name listed on the right:
From the textbook, find the chapter that you need in order to see a similar screen to the one below:
Notice the icons on the upper right, above the Thumbnail image of the textbook. Select the ribbon or bookmark icon in order to "Bookmark" the chapter:
You will be alerted to your bookmarked chapter and will have the option to create a tag, remove, or "Go to Saved". When finished select "Done":
To view bookmarked content, go to your account, and select "Saved Content" from the dropdown list:
