eBooks-Reading and Using

Welcome! This guide will help you interact with the eBooks in DML's collection.

Welcome!

Welcome to Dahlgren Memorial Library's How to Interact with our eBooks resource guide.

Dahlgren's robust collection of books is made up of both print and electronic books (or eBooks for short). As DML is almost 100% electronic, most of the books will also be in electronic format. There is a very small collection of print materials which can be found on the ground floor of the library.

This guide will discuss how best to find and utilize the eBooks in our collection. First, it will focus on how to use the DML catalog to search for eBooks and learning what eBooks are in DML's major collections. Then, summarize the process of downloading, saving, and printing eBook chapters. After, this guide will provide some information on where to go to cite DML eBooks, create stable links, and reading offline.
